Having spent more than 30 years as a wealth management professional and earned his accredited investment fiduciary (AIF®) designation, Mark believes in the predictive power of knowledge and the value of doing one’s homework. His research-driven, detail-oriented approach to investing has led him to attract a broad cross-section of clients, including high net-worth individuals, businesses, charities, government institutions, and even athletes and entertainers.

A former corporate executive and manager of several brokerage firm branch offices, Mark now focuses on cultivating one-to-one client relationships, which enable him to drill down past the numbers to what makes an investor tick. Mark’s true passion, professionally speaking, is effecting positive change in the world and in the lives of his clients. He has been published or written about in publications nationally and locally, including CNBC, Investor’s Business Daily, Fox News, the Arizona Republic, MSN Money, the JPost.com web site and ABCNews.com. Additionally, he has been a featured guest on radio programs all over the world.

Mark has always believed in giving back to organizations that help support vulnerable populations throughout the community. In addition to his monetary contributions, he has served on several boards of directors, including the Florence Crittenton Society. Currently he is an Emeritus board member of America’s Mighty Warriors and is on the board of directors of TeenAA.

Mark married to his high school sweetheart Wendy, and they have been together almost 40 years. They live in Scottsdale and have one son.


Doni L. Langston

Assistant Vice President, RP®

When it comes to the day-to-day management and administrative functions at Empowerment Financial Group, Doni Langston has everything under control – and that should come as no surprise, given her career of almost 20 years in the financial services industry. With an educational background in business management from University of Phoenix and a Registered ParaplannerSM designation from the College of Financial Planning, she specializes in preparing and administering customized plans for clients that focus on specific financial needs scenarios.

Prior to joining the firm, Doni spent time at Wells Fargo Private Client Services where she played a key role in developing the brokerage operations department. She later advanced into an Advisor Associate role and then continued her career path at Merrill Lynch in the Global Wealth Management Division. After Merrill, Doni became an instrumental part in building Empowerment Financial Group to what it is today. She takes great pride in delivering each client with personalized service, working to ensure lifelong relationships that provide a solid future for the company.

Outside of the office, Doni stays very busy being a mother to three children and keeping fitness a priority. She is an avid runner but enjoys various types of activities. She also has a passion for travel and has a bucket list of international and domestic locations she vows to visit in her lifetime.
